Reservations Crew

AJ Hackett Bungy NZ is an iconic Kiwi company and a world leader in adventure tourism. Everyone on our crew helps create a safe, fun place where customers can challenge themselves without worrying about getting hurt.

We’re looking for Reservations Crew to join our team based at the Kawarau Bungy Centre in Queenstown.  You’ll often be the first contact customers have with us, so you’ll set the tone for the whole experience. You’ll represent our company culture and give every customer an impression that’s genuine, friendly and encouraging, from their first call to the last.

What you’ll be doing:

• Answering calls and chats from customers quickly, professionally and with a smile you can hear.
• Taking and processing bookings across all our sites, and keeping every booking accurate.
• Selling and upselling AJ Hackett Bungy experiences, and helping the team hit its sales targets.
• Following up calls and chats so that no customer slips through.
• Solving problems and settling complaints together with the Reservations Supervisor.
• Helping the wider sales and marketing team with gift vouchers, daily reservations reporting and other tasks.
• Bringing energy to an office that’s fun, supportive and a bit loud.

What you’ll bring:

• Eligibility to work in NZ – you must have the right to work here.
• A love for adventure tourism – Passion goes a long way here!
• Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
• A good ear for listening, empathy and the ability to solve problems.
• Self-motivation and a positive attitude, with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Good organisation and the ability to multitask.
• Confidence with computers and booking systems.
• Comfortable working in a team as well as on your own.
• A passion for great customer service and for the story of Bungy!
