My life at AJ Hackett actually started out as the cleaner at the World Home of Bungy! The things we’ll do for a visa! (It was way easier back then!) Cleaning, driving buses and jump operations was my way in but that soon turned to Photo & Video where I spent nine years capturing awesome media for jumpers and swingers alike. I became an avid photographer thanks to my time in P&V. Over the years I led the P&V teams at all Queenstown sites, spending far too much time at the Ledge and Nevis. There was also the small matter of Bungy sponsoring my application for permanent residency!

During those P&V years, AJHB built up their Tech Team and when an opportunity arose to join them, I was ready to step up. Five and half years later I’m still going strong, learning new skills and taking an unexpected career path into the world of Technology. This enabled me to support the P&V team, understanding and servicing the P&V systems behind the scenes. On top of that I get to travel the country visiting our North Island sites, doing all the activities, upgrading tech and P&V gear, meeting new people and making awesome friends.

Amongst many other objectives and projects, I’ve become a project leader designing, building and installing our new photo and video system; EpicShot, which could lead to more adventures along the way! The best part of it all is the crew, the people we work with, the parties we have and incredible memories I’ll never forget.
