We’re AJ Hackett Bungy — legends in the world of adventure tourism. Sure, we’re all about adrenaline, but behind the scenes is a sharp, switched-on finance team making sure everything runs smoother than a bungy cord at full stretch.
We’re looking for an Intermediate Management Accountant (or an ambitious Assistant Accountant ready for that next big step) to join our crew. This is a role for someone who’s confident with the numbers, loves payroll, plays well with systems, and wants to grow.
No suits. No silos. Just real impact in a business that’s always moving.
What you’ll be doing:
- Running payroll like a pro (Zambion experience = even better)
- Owning reconciliations, journals, and monthly reporting support
- Extracting insights and building reports in IBIS, NetSuite, and Excel
- Getting stuck into budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Working across departments to deliver info that matters
- Helping the team streamline processes and lift perform
What we’re looking for:
- 2–4 years in accounting roles (management accounting or assistant level)
- End-to-end payroll experience (a must!)
- You’ve worked with systems like NetSuite, Zambion, or IBIS — or you pick things up fast
- Strong Excel skills and a love for tidy numbers
- Great communicator, team player, curious thinker
- Someone who wants to be more than just a GL-machine
- Eligibility to work in NZ
