Awesome to Support the U18 Men’s Single — Maadi 2026

There’s something about the single scull.
No one to hide behind. No one to pull you through.
Just you, the water, and 2000 metres of pressure.

At AJ Hackett Bungy NZ, we’re proud to back the U18 Men’s Single — because stepping up solo takes a certain kind of mindset.

We see it every day at Bungy.

Not everyone who turns up is fearless. Some are buzzing. Some are nervous. Some are wondering why they signed up in the first place.

Sound familiar?

That’s where the crew steps in — steadying the nerves, backing each other, and sending it when it counts.

That’s Live More. Fear Less.

To ALL the athletes racing at Maadi 2026 — go hard, trust your prep, and empty the tank!

If you’re around, swing past the Bungy tent, meet the crew, and see what it’s like to work at 134 metres. You can also jump into the 134m Challenge while you’re there.

Because whether it’s 2000 metres on the water or 134 metres in the air… it all comes down to the same thing… Stepping up when it counts.

Pressure doesn’t scare you… Oar-some.

Don’t Settle for Less

If you’re a rower, you don’t strive for average — and your next step shouldn’t either.

At AJ Hackett Bungy NZ, being part of the crew means working in an environment where focus, teamwork and trust matter every day.

It’s not just about the jump.  It’s about the people who arrive with a challenge — and the crew who help them face it.

Whether it’s alongside uni or the start of something bigger, this is where you build experience, back yourself and be part of something real.

If pressure doesn’t scare you… don’t settle for less.

Live More. Fear Less.

Who We Are

If you’re finishing school and thinking about what’s next, it’s not just about finding a job, it’s about finding a place where the culture and values align with you.  A place where you can grow and contribute.

At AJ Hackett Bungy NZ,  our vision is to be ‘global leaders in gravity related personal challenges’, and our mission is to ‘inspire people to do things they never thought they could’ (that doesn’t just apply to our customers – it applies to our crew too).

This shows up in the way our crew work every day — with a strong focus on safety, a genuine passion for what we do, the ability to bring the fun, and a deep level of respect for each other and every person who steps up to the edge.

A day in the life…

You already know what being part of a good crew feels like. Tight, focused, a bit of banter, and everyone doing their job when it counts. This is Che, one of our Activity Operators. This isn’t just something to watch — it could be your next crew.

From Crew to Leadership

Krista started her journey at AJ Hackett Bungy NZ nearly nine years ago in our photo and video department. Since then, she has grown through the company to become an qualified Activity Master and Health and Safety Administrator- taking on responsibility for both people and operations.

Her story is a great example of how a role at Bungy can evolve into something much bigger – through consistency, hard work and having a growth mindset.

School Rowing Crew  → Bungy Crew

Jessie’s competing at Maadi 2026, but when she’s not in the boat, she’s part of the Bungy crew — working as a café assistant every school holidays. She’ll be back again next year balancing Uni and Bungy – building experience, staying connected to the team, and keeping that crew culture going.

Crew recognises Crew

At AJ Hackett Bungy NZ, it’s not just about the job

For some, it’ll be a fun consistent holiday gig.  For others, it’ll be the start of a career journey.

Either way, it’s a place where you don’t just clock in — it’s about showing up, backing your crew, and helping people take on something bigger than they thought they could.

If pressure doesn’t scare you…Oar-some!
