GETTING THERE

You can’t drive to this one, but it’s much more exciting to take our 4WD bus along the narrow gravel track anyway.

The Bungy Bus departs from the Queenstown Bungy Centre, at the corner of Shotover Street and Camp Street. Trips times vary throughout the year, so please see our booking page to check the latest availability.

YOU DO IT

We know you're itching to get going, but there are a couple of things we need you to know first.

Risk Disclosure
This activity offers a unique and memorable experience. However, like all adventure experiences it carries an inherent risk that we, as an experienced operator, want to communicate clearly to all participants. See our risk disclosure statement.

AGE
Minimum 13 years old. Children 14 and under require an adult to sign consent at check-in.

Weight
Between 45kg to 127kg

Duration
Please allow a total trip time of 4 hours when departing from the Queenstown Bungy Centre in downtown Queenstown. To shorten the journey, you can request a pick-up from the Kawarau Bungy Centre on the Gibbston Highway by calling 0800 286 4958 or using Live Chat.

Clothing
Please ensure you wear flat, secure and enclosed footwear. Winter can get very cold, so we recommend layering-up and taking a jacket.

Spectators are welcome to accompany their mates on their Nevis Catapult experience. Spectators will experience the Nevis Playground, including going over to the Nevis Catapult Pod - a very cool experience even if 'Catapulting' is not your forte.

Cost - $50 per person.
A once-in-a-lifetime experience needs proof to tell the tale. We’ve got cameras in all the best spots. Let us hook you up with photos and a video to show off your adventure in the most epic way possible.
SAFE?
We invented safe!
We have been throwing people off things since 1988 and we are very proud of our impeccable safety record. When you catapult with AJ Hackett Bungy New Zealand, you do it with the most experienced bungy company in the world.

Tell your Catapult Crew if you have high or low blood pressure, heart conditions, epilepsy, broken or fractured bones/dislocations, fragile skin, neurological disorders, diabetes, asthma, prosthetics, panic/anxiety attacks or any recent sprains/muscular injuries.

Unfortunately, we can't permit anyone who is pregnant, or those with photosensitive epilepsy, to catapult. And if you have osteoporosis, scoliosis or a recent concussion, we'll need to see a doctor's certificate.

Wear glasses for safety reasons? They may not be able to be worn. However, prescriptions safety glasses are available free of charge. You can check out more stuff about safety here.
