Jumpers For Charity
Lately, we’ve been searching for a different kind of Jumper… the comfy, wooly type, that takes a special kind of skill to craft. Each of our handknit ‘Jumpers’ will go up for auction and the proceeds will be donated to the knitters charity of choice.
Jenny, Winnie, Phyllis and Deidre teamed up to knit our second Bungy-inspired Jumper of the series. Each knitter tackled a different piece of the jumper – two ladies took on a sleeve each, one took on the front, and the other the back – with the only requirements being the ‘arrow’ theme to represent the ‘ups and downs’ of a Bungy Jump. The details of the Jumper including sizing, materials, and more are listed in the TradeMe Auction.
The auction is now live on TradeMe and will end Wednesday July 21 @8:30pm. The highest bidder will win the Jumper and the proceeds from the auction will be donated to St Johns Ambulance.
Our first auction for Jackies awesome ‘Auckland-inspired’ Jumper raised $325 for Look Good Feel Better NZ who provide skincare and make-up tutorials for women undergoing cancer treatment.
