The festival fun starts with our pre-party on Tuesday, 9th September, held at one of the most iconic spots in the world: AJ Hackett’s Kawarau Bridge Bungy.
The spring snow is falling, bass thudding through the Kawarau Gorge, and the Snow Machiners are bungy jumping into the abyss below. We invite you to join us for Snow Machine’s official opening party.

The night kicks off the moment you board the bus from town (included in your ticket). The atmosphere on the bus is a fusion of excitement and adrenaline. As you journey deep into Queenstown’s alpine wilderness, the dusky sky shimmers with that first-night magic.
Stepping off at the birthplace of bungy, the DJs’ beat pulses through the air and wraps around you. Crisp mountain breeze carries the hint of spring, and above the gorge, the sky stretches like deep velvet, setting the stage for an unforgettable night.
The whoops of your fellow Snow Machiners doing bungy jumps greet you as you make your way inside, mingling with the raucous cheers of the party-goers and the pounding base. The intoxicating atmosphere curls around you, inviting you to shed your inhibitions and play.
With beats from Brisbane’s Odd Mob (best known for the viral hit “Is It a Banger?”, which landed in the 2014 Triple J Hottest 100), Boogs (a regular DJ at Melbourne’s infamous Revolver), and Mell Hall (Melbourne’s queen of disco-infused house), this exclusive launch party is a full-throttle sensory experience fusing music, adrenaline, and breathtaking alpine scenery.
