Kawarau Bungy Trampoline
The World Home of Bungy introduces the next hybrid in adventure tourism activity- the Bungy Trampoline (Bungee Trampoline).
Two sets of bungy cords attached to a harness, in which the jumper is secured, enhance the traditional trampoline experience and provide a ride that defies gravity and serves up a substantial dose of adrenalin. Jumpers can reach heights that are impossible to attain on a trampoline alone, but still remain safe and secure in an adjustable, purpose built harness.
Experiment with acrobatic movements such as back flips and spread eagles or simply test yourself to jump as high as you possibly can.
The Kawarau Bungy Trampoline opened in March 2011 and is one of the more recent Queenstown attractions for the whole family to enjoy.
Bungy Trampoline Stats:
- This Queenstown activity is open to anyone who is over the age of two and weighs between 10kg and 90kg.
- Bounces up to four people at a time, each on their own separate trampoline.
- Jumpers can reach up to 8m in height.

Location & Transportation
Self-Drive (allow 1 hour): Located on SH6 in the Gibbston Valley just 20 minutes from Queenstown and 30min from Cromwell.
Provided Transportation (allow 2.5 hours): Transportation is available from the Station Building on the corner of Camp and Shotover Streets in the centre of Queenstown. Trips depart daily at 9.20am, 12pm and 2.40pm. Please check-in 30 minutes prior to departure.
The Proof - Your Photos and Video
Spectators are welcome to take photo and video footage of the Bungy Trampoline.
If you wish to jump with a camera attached to you, it needs to be safely secured to your person to ensure it cannot be dropped.
Jumping with a camera is entirely at your own risk and ONLY at the discretion of the jump crew. The waiver you sign when checking in fully indemnifies AJHB of any loss or injury associated with you jumping with your camera.
Spectators
The Bungy Trampoline is free for spectators. Come and enjoy the fabulous atmosphere at the Kawarau Bridge!
Terms & Conditions
Bookings are not required. Participation is on a first come, first served basis. Tickets may be purchased onsite in the Kawarau Bungy Centre building, at the Bungy Trampoline directly or at the Queenstown Bungy Centre in central Queenstown. Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable*.
* Refunds will only be given in the event that weather prevents a person from Jumping or a person is deemed unable to Jump by our Operations Crew for medical reasons.
