Kawarau Bungy Centre Phase One Upgrades Complete
Queenstown, New Zealand – 22 December 2011 – AJ Hackett Bungy is excited to announce the completion of Stage One in the Kawarau Bungy Centre Upgrade. The changes to date include removal of The Bungy Dome (movie theatre) from the centre of the building and installation of a new 7m by 3 m stage, which features a 16 screen video wall above it.
The removal of the Dome has doubled the usable floor space resulting in 320 square metres of open space, making the Kawarau Bungy Centre the ideal venue for any event. It now has the capacity to hold 800+ (standing), with facilities for live bands, large scale presentations, cocktail functions, parties (large or small), conference events and team building exercises.

David, originally from Christchurch, comes to Bungy from an Applied Technology and Management company where he worked in Dubai as the Managing Director of their Middle Eastern Operations. David is qualified with Engineering and Business degrees and will bring a wealth of experience in project management, competitive strategy and targeted growth to his new role at AJ Hackett Bungy.

Queenstown, New Zealand – 07 November 2011 – On Friday November 11th AJ Hackett Bungy will celebrate their 23rd birthday. As part of the festivities local schools have been invited to a birthday party at the Kawarau Bungy Centre. There will be approximately 200 local school children in attendance. Each school will be allocated a number of free bungy jumps and passes for the Kawarau Bungy Trampoline. A BBQ will also be put on for all the students and in good ol’ kids birthday party fashion, each student will also take away a small goodie bag.

Every year the company invites Year 13 students to participate in the free event, marking the end of their school days in Queenstown.
